Our brand was born in 1996 when we discovered the amazing health benefits of natural instability when walking and standing. With this discovery we invented the physiological footwear category, which has steadily grown and grown ever since. In recent years, our market has exploded with big brands launching new physiological footwear products, messages and campaigns.

But there is only one brand with the expert knowledge about what works and what doesn’t. One brand with a huge global network of physiotherapists, professors, doctors and other professionals in sports science who know and recommend its footwear. One brand that continues to invest in ongoing research into the field of natural instability and its potential benefits and applications. So whatever other brands may say or claim, we will always be the expert. We are committed to that.

The soft heel strike area created by the Masai sensor meets a reinforced zone of flexibility, the patented MBT pivot point, which enables the wearer to stand straighter and stronger – and exploit more of the physical benefits physiological footwear provide.

The strategic positioning of the pivot point means the body is only very rarely in balance, which consequently means greater instability and therefore increased muscle activity.

While other copycat brands might have developed their own versions of our curved sole and cushioned impact area, we will always have our patented combination of the soft Masai Sensor and the rigid pivot point.
